Paul Battaglia is a member of the PReturn team specializing in industry analyst relations. He directs and manages critically important analyst outreach and relationships.
Paul has a strong marketing communications background, previously working with companies such as Hewlett-Packard, Motorola and Accenture to develop and implement strategies that build, maintain and leverage relationships with the industry analyst community. His core expertise is to convey strategy behind complex technologies, primarily in the digital marketing, information technology and telecommunications markets.
Prior to working at PReturn, Paul managed industry analyst relations for HP. As part of the global communications team, he developed and executed AR strategy for HP’s Communications, Media & Entertainment (CME) business unit.
He has held executive positions at some of the world’s largest public relations agencies, including Burson-Marsteller, Edelman and Hill & Knowlton. He was also a co-founder (along with Mark Smith) of the StrongForce Group.
Paul has been a recipient of numerous honors and awards for creative client campaigns, including PR News Platinum Award for Best Media Relations Campaign; Public Relations Society of America Chicago Skyline Award; Publicity Club of Chicago Silver Trumpet Award; International Association of Business Communicators Spectra Award for Marketing/Branding Communications; and the 2001 Publicity Club of Chicago Silver Trumpet Award.
He is a member of several professional discussion groups and organizations such as Association of Analyst Relations Professionals, Institute of Industry Analyst Relations, Influencer Marketing & Influencer Relations, and Knowledge Capital Group Connects.
Paul graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Southern Illinois University, majoring in English and Journalism.
